Governor General of Canada David Johnston Visits Tsinghua

A delegation led by the Governor General of Canada, His Excellency the Right Honorable David Johnston visited Tsinghua University on July 14th. Tsinghua University President Qiu Yong met with the delegation during the visit and held discussions to promote further cooperation between Tsinghua and Canada.

During the meeting, delegation representatives and university leaders discussed Tsinghua’s international strategy, research development and collaboration projects with Canada.

Following the meeting, the Governor General visited the School of Environment’s Drinking Water Safety Laboratory. This laboratory aims to address the key technology problems in drinking water safety, and was established in partnership with TROJAN UV Technologies, based in Ontario, Canada.
