Eight Teachers Awarded the Tsinghua New Century Teaching Achievement Award

Recently, the first Tsinghua New Century Teaching Achievement Award was announced; eight teachers received the award.

In recognition of the teachers who have made outstanding contributions in teaching and to better enhance the quality of education, the Tsinghua New Century Teaching Achievement Award is selected once every two years from among all members of faculty who have contributed to teaching for more than ten years; no more than ten teachers may receive the award.

The eight teachers who received an award are: Professor Qian Yi (School of Environment), Professor Zhao Qing (Department of Physical Education),Professor Zeng Pan (Department of Mechanical Engineering), Associate Professor Deng Junhui (Department of Computer Science and Technology), Professor Peng Lin (School of Humanities), Professor Yan Xuetong (School of Social Sciences), Professor Cheng Wenhao (School of Public Policy and Management), and Associate Professor Yu Xinjie (Department of Electrical Engineering).
