Tsinghua students won 1st place Best Poster Paper Award at 13th International Building Performance Simulation Association Conference

The paper entitled “comparison of simulation tools for optimization and evaluation of green building performance in China”, by LU Fan, LIN Borong and PENG Bo from School of Architecture, Tsinghua University, recently won the 1st place Best Poster Paper Award at the 13th International Building Performance Simulation Association Conference held at Aix-les-Bains in France. A total of three papers were selected as Best Poster Paper Award from over 250 papers, LU Fan is the only award-winning undergraduate student for this year.

Founded in 1985, IBPSA (the International Building Performance Simulation Association) is a non-profit international society of building performance simulation researchers, developers and practitioners, committed to advance and promote the science of building performance simulation in order to improve the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of new and existing buildings worldwide. Tsinghua Professor Zhu Yingxin, Deputy Dean of School of Architecture, was elected as Fellow of IBPSA.
