Memorandum of Understanding Signed Between University of Montreal and Tsinghua

Professor Guy Breton, President of the University of Montreal, visited Tsinghua University, on March 25th. During his visit, a Memorandum of Understanding for Academic Exchange and Cooperation between Tsinghua University and the University of Montreal, was signed. Tsinghua Vice President Yuan Si also held a discussion with Professor Breton during his visit.

In their discussion, Vice President Yuan briefly introduced Tsinghua’s educational, research, and international cooperative efforts. Professor Breton said that the University of Montreal attaches great importance to the promotion of international cooperation. He told Vice President Yuan that during his visit to Tsinghua, the University of Montreal delegation held fruitful discussions with several Tsinghua departments and schools, exchanging ideas on further cooperation and promotion. He expressed the hope that more collaboration between the two universities could be encouraged in the coming years, especially in relation to student exchanges and joint faculty research.
