New academic tie-up between Civil Service College & Chinese university

Singapore's Civil Service College will partner China's Tsinghua University's School of Public Policy and Management in research as well as training and development.

The tie-up comes with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two sides on October 5th.

In a statement, dean and CEO of Singapore's Civil Service College Kwek Mean Luck said China and Singapore share a growing academic interest in the areas of government, public administration and public management.

The dean of Tsinghua's School of Public Policy and Management Professor Xue Lan said the new partnership will help extend his school's reach to non-traditional important public institutions in the world.
