Executive Education Launches 2012 Training Program for BMW
On September 24, 2012, “BMW Global Executive Training Program” was launched at Tsinghua SEM. Altogether 22 BMW global executives began their seven-day-long experiential training program at SEM.

For the second consecutive time, BMW initiates its global executive training overseas. The training program is designed by International Programs of Executive Education and taught by renowned SEM scholars and professors. Within the training, quality lectures are also supplemented by case studies, company visits, panel discussions attended by governmental and entrepreneurial guests, as well as Chinese cultural experience.
Dr. Andreas Aumann, Business Development Director of BMW China, Mansfield Freeman Professor LI Daokui, Head of the Department of Finance at SEM, XU Sitao, Chief Representative for China of the Economist Group, and Kris XIE, Associate Director of Executive Education attended the opening ceremony and delivered remarks.
Dr. Aumann regarded last year’s training program as quite valuable and beneficial for BMW. China’s boosting economy and its enormous consumer base both contribute to its growing role in BMW’s global market. Accordingly, this tailor-made program perfectly fits the demands and expectations of BMW by facilitating its understanding of the Chinese market and consumers. Professor LI Daokui remarked that, consistency, coherence and high-quality are the core values not only for Tsinghua, but also for BMW. He hoped everybody could gain a much better and deeper understanding of China and the Chinese market.

In the seven-day program, BMW executives are expected to study Chinese Macro-economy, Chinese Policy Environment, Chinese Culture, Leadership Development, Chinese Consumer Market and etc.
