President of the University of Melbourne Visits

Professor Glyn Davis, Vice-Chancellor & President of the University of Melbourne, visited Tsinghua University on September 18. Tsinghua University President Chen Jining had a talk with Professor Davis, exchanging ideas on further promoting cooperation between Tsinghua and the University of Melbourne.

During their talk, President Chen noted that the two universities have enjoyed fruitful collaboration including faculty exchange, staff exchange, student exchange, and University Day in the past years. Professor Davis said that he hoped cooperation between the two universities could be further promoted in the near future.

They also exchanged ideas on university development, student cultivation, foreign students’ education and international cooperation.
