Mayor of Amsterdam Visits

 Mr. Eberhard van der Laan, Mayor of Amsterdam, visited Tsinghua University on August 31. Tsinghua University Vice President Xie Weihe had a discussion with Mr. van der Laan. During their talk, Vice President Xie provided an outline of the university's history and academic development. They also exchanged ideas on means of promoting further collaborations between Tsinghua and universities, research institutes and companies in Amsterdam.
