Mr. Chung Mong-joon, Chairman of Grand National Party of Republic of Korea, visited Tsinghua and delivered a speech in the Tsinghua Global Vision Lectures Series on March 26th.

Tsinghua University Council Chairman Hu Heping had a discussion with Mr. Chung prior to the speech. Chairman Hu welcomed Mr. Chung to Tsinghua and briefed him on Tsinghua's recent development. The two expressed the hope that there could be greater collaboration between Tsinghua and South Korean universities. Tsinghua Vice President Yuan Si also attended the meeting.

Mr. Chung delivered a speech entitled "The Future of the Sino-Korean Relationship" in Tsinghua's Main Building that morning. He answered questions from students after his speech.
